Los High Tops is an original, engaging rockabilly band from Santa Cruz, California. The three-piece band, with upright bass, standup drums and a classic Gretsch guitar gained national recognition writing and performing Hotwire.com’s innovative series of television commercials that enjoyed heavy rotation across the airwaves.
Los High Tops released “Texas Radio,” their first full-length CD, published by Nervous Music America in 2008. “Texas Radio” features an engaging mix of originals that carry the full flavor of the diversity of Rockabilly, Surf and Americana Roots music.
"More than just a CD, it’s a journey. It takes you through a gamut of styles and genres, without losing the band’s identity. Los High Tops stamp themselves on every track and demonstrate a wide repertoire as well as accomplished musicianship ... experimental and true to the faith at the same time"
The band plays festivals such as The Gilroy Garlic Festival, Route 66 Rendezvous, and dozens and dozens of car shows. A crowd favorite, Los High Tops also frequently appears at indie clubs like San Jose’s Blank Club, San Francisco’s DNA Lounge and Oakland’s Uptown Night Club.
